Retrospect

Attending college is a turning point in each of our lives. It’s our first chance to experience the world on our own and make lifelong friends along the way. It helped determine who you are and what you’ve become today. Graduating and moving on from the University of Mobile doesn’t mean leaving it all together. You’ll always be a part of the university, and the university will always be a part of you.

Miss UM

Whether you called it Miss MC or Miss UM, the pageant has always been a big part of campus life since 1964. Each year, multiple students compete to become the official hostess for the university. Miss UM will go on to represent the university at the Miss Alabama pageant and participate in multiple community and student events.

Intramural Sports

Intramurals take students on a journey of wins and defeats while growing bonds and friendships that will last a lifetime. Students of all skill levels come together to compete in sports and grow school pride.

Ram Rush

Ram Rush is a critical part of becoming a UM student and beginning your college experience. New and current students are able to learn about the university through orientations, scavenger hunts, and many other activities. Ram Rush also allows new students to explore churches around the area to find their church home for the next four years.

Covers

Since the debut of “COVERS,” student bands have enjoyed competing against each other to win the coveted belt. Each year the student-led event has grown in size and production quality to where it is today. Bands now perform in Ram Hall, and video/special effects are specific to each performer or group.
